A judicious use of tact was required to turn the old miners’ houses into a comfortable and design 4-star hotel. The regular pattern of the façades joined by two glass sections and a large garden now boasts 52 rooms, fitness and wellbeing facilities, conference rooms, a brasserie and a bar.

The hotel is shaping the future history of a quite unusual destination which has become a must-see since the Louvre-Lens Museum opened, located just opposite the hotel (a 3-minute walk).

    Cosy rooms are tastefully decorated. In some of them, a brick wall has been preserved and restored, in reference to the site's past. The shower rooms all have natural daylight with a large window.

    The Superior Business rooms are tastefully decorated. Black was chosen for the walls and particular care taken with the lighting to foster a welcoming atmosphere in the evening, after a day of work. The large desk overlooking the garden make these rooms ideal for business trips.

    Superior Comfort Room

    Facing the garden, the Superior Comfort rooms are tastefully decorated. The sofa corner in the elegant bow window converts into a comfortable single bed to accomodate a third person. The Triple is an excellent option for small families.

    The Deluxe rooms are tastefully decorated. The bathrooms all include a bathtub or a walk-in Italian shower and enjoy natural daylight thanks to a large window.

A warm and friendly atmosphere for the interior ambiences, recalling the old boarding and guest houses. The hotel is designed to be both cosy and open to the exterior with large sliding glass doors and windows to enjoy the garden.
